Spring Fashion 2013

Spring Fashion 2013

Fashion shows come and go. In a few minutes, all planned, discussed, taken paris on ourselves and we believe that changing the shape of the face of tomorrow is happening and it is as if nothing happened. Here I am sitting in my Paul Smith Multi Stripe Dress, freshly showered, shaved and drinking a cup of Assam tea impressive to see the collection (Y) SL on YouTube. Hedi Slimane debut was hailed as nothing less than divine intervention. This was the icing on the cake was the alarming side list. In fact, he and Raf Simons for Dior Archangels were new at the time. Raf wings were not as buoyant as some thought. There will be much discussion about the strengths and Hedi. I will say this: there were times when we had a little zip, but in the long term, the collection seemed strangely earthboound.

Kick-tuxedos, shirts jabot bound gorges and undulating signature chiffon pants crotch skinny shortcut was interesting for the first 6 outputs until I saw quickly that it was big and the small of your message . Pants seemed ill-suited to models attenuated and emaciated bodies. Although this was the beginning of the proportion (new) seven years ago, is no longer the spark that once made. With shoes that challenged the best attractive women walking, or just walk at all, there was a feeling of tension in the parade. Hats did not help. It looked like a coven of witches had fallen, even though I know it was not his intention. However, it seems witches. The pearls were beautiful cardigans like most jackets, tuxedos and leather versions of the bike. But if the leather or wool pants stopped the flow of the image. Slimane takes classic styles of YSL emblematic as Safari suede long dresses, blouses and skirts puffed Moroccans and pleated dresses with chiffon levels were presented carefully, but did not feel new or different. The mere reference does not bode come.

Black was everywhere with momentary breaks of gray / brown and a gray with a FEW exceptions near the end. Tailoring was the sole technology at play.

The "Blur" that we all loved and Have Anticipated, at least I did, was basically seven shapes in blouses, long skirts and swinging a djellaba. That's it. They Were cut again and again, mostly in black and then in brown, gray, green, red and blue. Making a statement and sticking to it is the name of the game, this goal was a little short on ideas, or at least new ones. I liked the black cloth gowns for Their purity and spare detail. The belts Were aussi great. I Wondered if he and Rachel Zoe Spent HAD A Few nights on the town in LA before he got down to work. The clothes distressingly Looked like her idea of (Y) SL. I do think That It all HAD more sizzle than Dior. At least it was sexy. Perhaps, over time Hedi Slimane will do for women what he HAS done so ably for men
