False Eyelashes
Forget nail art, it seems all the bling is moving off nails and onto eyelashes. And it's not just about using false eyelashes and the odd diamante sparkle to jazz up your eyes, the new eye is all about making the biggest statement you can.
This is the place to go if you want to find some of the best and bizarre false lashes. Aside from the scary, and the downright uncomfortable there are false lashes here that seem too beautiful to wear. We're loving the Iridescent Blue Peacock Feather lashes £12.16, the Red and Black Heart Feather lashes £22.41 and Ardell False lashes £3.19 all from Etsy.
If these lashes are too OTT for your look consider the brilliant Paperself £12.00 at ASOS. Using traditional Chinese cutting techniques, and inspired by fairytales Paperself produce ornate, delicate false eyelashes, in designs such as butterflies, peacocks, birds and even the London Skyline.
Application of the Paperself lashes is easier than you think. Simply line the false lash up with your eye line and trim down if necessary, shape the band and apply some lash adhesive to the band. Once the adhesive is tacky, apply just above the lash line working from the inner to the outer corner of the eye.
If, like us, you can't face the struggle with false lashes, visit any Blink Bar (there are 23 of them around the UK) and an expert will apply the lashes for you. Plus at Blink you can choose from different coloured lashes, lash extentions and longer lashes with enhanced ends.
So will you be wearing the look? Let us know.
