Sexy Kareena Kapoor paid tribute to her late grandfather Raj Kapoor, by depicting some of the most vivacious leading ladies from his time including Dimple, Zeenat Amaan, Nargis, Vyjayantimala and Nutan. She went retro in her look by wearing baggy pants, long tee tops, hats, with skimpy tights with lot of glitters on her attire.

Long gowns toll away the red carpet as most of the Bollywood beauties were spotted in them. Minisha Lamba wore a sexy pink color gown which had golden plunging neckline that looked great on her. She looked beautiful in her hair tightly tied in a bun. Esha Kopikar and Mugdha Godse were spotted in red color flowy gown which accentuated their curves quite well. They paired the attire along with a pair of fashionable chandelier earrings, which looked great on both of them.

Katreena Kaif was spotted in baby pink gown which she paired up with diamond earrings and high heel pumps. Her hair was kept in lose curls with plushy pink gloss on her lips. The look completed her feminine sense well.

Celebrity Hair Icons

Victoria Beckham, Kate Middleton, Adele, Kelly Brook and Cheryl Cole now top the list of the UK's best celebrity hair icons. With a new poll voting them to have the hair most women would love to have.

The Duchess of Cambridge came in first with her thick lush hair, but the poll by haircare specialists Fabriah.com also found one in ten people named both Victoria Beckham's and Adele's hair as the most desirable.

The concensus seem to be forget bleached out, treated locks, when it comes to hair, most of us now want warm tones, and a natural more sophisticated look. This couldn't be truer for Victoria Beckham who in line with her new fashionista status has put her Posh Spice wild hair days well behind her. Sporting graduated long hair, in a much more flattering mahogany tone, she's been working the AW12/13 hair trends oh-so well.

Trends for this season currently include 60s up-dos, side parted ponytails and plaits (see VB below), messy chignons and long hair of all sorts, as seen at Pucci, Burberry and Marc Jacobs and on all of the above celebrities.

Red Lipstick Rules!

While the colours of Aw12 range from cobalt to maroon one colour that's currently on all the lips that count is red. Seen everywhere from the catwalks to celebrites to the high street - red lipstick rules so strongly right now that it's fast becoming the lip shade of the season.

Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Kristen Stewart, Megan Fox and of course the doyenne of red lips Angelina Jolie are all working the look. For a luxe orange red we love YSL's Rouge Pur Couture The Mats in Orange Imagine £23.50 from Harrods. This has a great depth of colour for an orange red, and gives a medium to full coverage with a satin finish for up to 6 hours.

False Eyelashes

Forget nail art, it seems all the bling is moving off nails and onto eyelashes. And it's not just about using false eyelashes and the odd diamante sparkle to jazz up your eyes, the new eye is all about making the biggest statement you can.

Think Lady Gaga, think Rihanna, think Katy Perry who have taken false eyelashes to a new level with the use of cystals, different coloured lashes, extended lashes and diamante. Katy Perry loves the look so much that she even has her own range of false lashes for Eylure. Of course, unlike us poor mortals, these celebrities don't have to think up eyelash ideas on their own or even attempt the application. So if you're tempted by the trend but lacking in the creativity department we suggest taking a look at Etsy.

Aside from the scary, and the downright uncomfortable there are false lashes here that seem too beautiful to wear. Application of the Paperself lashes is easier than you think. Simply line the false lash up with your eye line and trim down if necessary, shape the band and apply some lash adhesive to the band. Although the actual pageant doesn’t air until tonight, the Miss Universe contestants debuted their “National Costumes” in Las Vegas last Friday—a questionable sartorial event that today, prompted journalist Hilary Alexander to tweet, “Why didn’t Vivienne Westwood or McQueen or Chris Kane or Mary K or Anyone design the Miss UK National Costume in Miss Universe…” After scrolling through the images, we have similar questions about all the countries’ costumes. Miss Switzerland appeared to be a “sexy” hotel porter, Denmark was either a mermaid or a dolphin, and Miss Bahamas opted for a pirate costume. We have to agree that Dame Viv would have created an infinitely better Union Jack unitard than the one Miss Great Britain, who it must be noted, like all the contestants, is stunning on her own, chose to wear. We also think Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung, or Rodarte could have improved on Miss USA’s see-through Lady Liberty look. Any takers for next year?
